Once everyone was normal
and of course very formal

But from somewhere a new cry came,
that would end up putting us all to shame,

"Be different oh different from the crowd;
an individual must be loud!"

All of us followed this trend,
which noone could dare to bend.

The question of course comes to mind,
and soon the answer you will find:

If all are differerent, then they are normal,
so to be normal is quit different.
