My Thoughts

I want to take a moment to talk about this site and why I did it. A few weeks before Noel passed away I started getting e-mail from him. We hadn't talked in awhile with him being in Wisconsin and me in school. He had a friend who had a computer and Noel remembered that I was worked on Internet. He e-mailed me a few times and we kept in touch that way for awhile. He also saw my web sites and asked me if I would make him one. I responded yes I definitely would. I didn't get to talk to him through e-mail after that because he was unable to get back online. He called me a few days later asking me about computers because he wanted to get one. It wasn't long afterwards he died. At the hospital one night I promised him I would still create him his site.
After his death I remembered my promise. It was hard for me to think about what had happened. I didn't want to see a picture with Noel in it or think about him in anyway. It was very difficult. I knew I needed to create his web site, and I knew I needed to learn to deal with Noel's death. I made up excuses for not being able to work on the site.
Then my fall semester of college came around and I was enrolled in a class called senior seminar. We had to come up with a project to do. At this point I was all out of excuses it was time to do the site.
Throughout the creation of this site I have been forced to come to grips with my fear of remembering. Seeing all the pictures and reading others memories and writing about Noel has been tremendously healing. I thank the lord God for giving me this opportunity to devote my attention to this project.
This site is for my brother Noel. He will always be remembered and loved.
I love you Noel.
