  • I had the chance to work with Noel last summer (1996). He was a welcome relief to an often lonely and tedious job. I could always talk to Noel. I recall most clearly his stories of Oklahoma and his family. Both of which I can tell you he loved with all his heart. And he almost always had a smile across his face.

Noel was by far one of the sweetest, most genuine people I've ever met. He had a uniquely natural innocence about him. He had an undeniably honest way of saying things and meaning what he said. this I will never forget. I am a better person for having known Noel. You should be very proud.

  • I've known Noel through Shekinah Fellowship Church. I've always admired his polite personality, however after playing with him on the church team, I really got to see the Noel that I respected.

He always had a smile for me, his politeness was contagious. He was a perfect young man, a model for any young man to see that you can be active in this world and keep your highest priority, your relationship with Jesus Christ.

Heaven now has one of our best.

  • Strong, Silent, and mighty! Noel always had a pleasant smile and gentleness.

I most remember his baseball game with the church league and my husband's comments he was always making about Noel's abilities on the field and his character. I loved to watch him play ball. He knew what he was doing and did it well.

Everyone remarked what a great guy he was and I agree, but that smile was the best. His smile showed his heart; a heart full of Jesus.

There will be many who will miss him but heaven must truly be beautiful now!

  • My heart Aches so much right now it's hard for me to say everything I want to. I've gone through losses in my life, but never the loss of a child so I cannot begin to know what you must be going through. I wanted you to know however how special your children have been to me.

I had Noel when he was in the 7th grade and three of his four years of high school. I couldn't help but have a special place in my heart for him. i watched him grow into a fine young man.

I can still see that mischievous twinkle in his eyes and slight smile he'd give. Noel touched many lives which was apparent by the solemn tone, the concern and thoughts of so many during his time in the hospital.

Noel has left a void in our lives, but I wanted you to know how fortunate and happy I was to have had the chance to know him. He will be remembered well.

I wish you strength in dealing with this painful part of your life.
