Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. CONGRATULATIONS RACER BAND!Congratulations go out to the Newcastle High School Racer Band (directed by our own Mike Way) for receiving an EXCELLENT rating at the regional marching band contest in Lawton. Be sure and let our NHCOC youth who are in the band know that you are proud of them: Elizabeth Way, Jessie Way, and Titus West. A stew/chili and soup supper will be served on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. LADIES' EVENTS:The Oakcrest Church of Christ Ladies' Day will be on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. This year's speakers will be Cindy Minor and LeAnna Hale (of Oakcrest) and Judy McCarver (of Alameda) and the theme is "Holy is the Lord." YOUTH EVENTS:The Wayne Church of Christ is reviving the monthly area-wide skating at Skateland in Norman. This will be held from 7-9 p.m. on the 2nd Monday night of each month, starting Nov. 11th.
