This is a blog. It has existed in other forms but now exists as a place for me to scrawl my thoughts and to share websites that I find interesting. By the way, if you don't like what I have to say, you can kiss my Bill of Rights.

    Website News:

As you can see this blog has been slowly dying lately. Too busy with other projects, work, etc. The bad news it that it is only going to get worse, as I am starting my studies at Oklahoma City University School of Law in less than a month.

So, it is time for a change. Here's the battle plan..

      1. The Law/Politics blog will continue on at www.jmbzine.com. However, my focus will primarily be in writing for my fellow law students, and other folks interested in the law. I'll comment on cases and issues that we talk about in class, and will probably even post my class outlines here.

I may still talk some about politics (especially as it relates to what I'm studying), but most of my political discussion will be on the Oklahoma Green Party Discussion list instead of on this site.

      2. If I continue the culture blog, it will likely move to www.exitzine.com. More likely, I will quit that blog but will continue writing about culture, music, art, etc through the reviews and articles I write @ EXITzine.

      3. Random blog will probably die unless I change my mind.

That's all of the news now. If you're an old friend or just want to say howdy please email me at jmb@jmbzine.com.

My mini-garden in Newcastle (a few flower beds around my home) is doing well. I'm especially excited about my bluebonnets. I had purchased a few bluebonnet seedlings from Wildseed Farms in Fredericksburg, TX back in March. They are now blooming in a container and are beautiful! I have both blue flowers and the new Alamo red blooming.

BTW, if you have never seen a red bluebonnet (sounds funny doesn't it) you are missing out. They are such an incredible rich red color.

I posted some new thoughts on my politics blog. They really fit better here, but oh well I posted them there. Read it if you want.

I spent my first night in my new place in downtown Newcastle, OK. Still lots of work to do this weekend, but at least I now have a place to sleep and take a shower.

Life has been busy since my return to Oklahoma. Mostly with work, but also in a remodeling project working on. I'm in the process of moving my abode from the farm @ Pine Ridge to Newcastle. Once I get the remodeling done this week (I'm enlarging a bathroom and adding a kitchen to an office space to convert it to a studio apartment.) my life will be much more relaxed and I'll hopefully get to post more to the blogs.

This section will be for pretty much everything on this site except Politics and Culture.

More content to be added soon.
