JMBzine's roots lay in my personal internet web page. I first created it back in early 1995 (35 internet years ago) (View the archives of JMBzine from that era. *)

Overtime, I continued creating webpages, first for fun, then for causes I believed in, and later for profit. Throughout it all, I continued to change and upgrade my personal webpages, first with the addition of graphics (remember I first went online with the Lynx text only browser, that predated Mosaic, Netscape, or IE.) and later with the acquisition of some basic design concepts.

Over the years, my web creations have become eaiser to use and more pleasant for the eyes. However, in the rush to "be professional" and all of that jazz, I lost the joy of just creating webpagess for the shear joy of it.

So, this is what jmbzine.com is all about. It is an attempt to relive the glory days of both the personal webpage and the fanzine of old. I don't care what you think of this publication. Mock it if you will. I create it for me, and for those who understand it.

* Please be warned that most of my views concerning religion, politics, and music have changed drastically since those days. I kept those pages up for nostalgia sake. (Much of what I said back then I would disagree with today.)
